It may be a distant or recent past, but I am always fascinated by the possibility of capturing the supposedly vanished past in the present of the narrative, and the stronger the twist in which the characters in the film are caught, the greater the pleasure in filming them.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Roots<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Born in Poland, I went into exile with my parents in France in the 1980s, where I studied philosophy and cinema (INSAS). After holding several positions in the film industry \u2014 from script supervisor to casting director to actress  \u2014 I went on to direct documentaries ( <strong>KOR<\/strong>, <strong>School Revolution 1918\u20131939<\/strong>, <strong>Poland vs. History<\/strong>), some essays ( <strong>Quarzell dit Castel<\/strong>, <strong>All of me won't disappear<\/strong>) some fictions ( <strong>The wheel turns<\/strong>, <strong>I want something and I don't know what<\/strong>, <strong>Lone wolves in passive mode<\/strong>) qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 diffus\u00e9s \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision, programm\u00e9s et prim\u00e9s dans de nombreux festivals en France (<strong>Angers, Pantin, La Rochelle, Fid Marseille, Cin\u00e9ma du R\u00e9el, rendez-vous de l\u2019histoire de Blois, \u2026<\/strong> ) et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger ( <strong>Planet doc review, Krakow film festival, La Cabina, Flight Genova, Molodist film festival, Munich film festival, \u2026<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She is currently working on several documentary and fiction projects.<br>Je produis par ailleurs pour la radio des documentaires, des biographies radiophoniques et des essais ( <strong>France Cultur<\/strong>e).<br>Je suis \u00e9galement professeure associ\u00e9e en \u00e9criture et r\u00e9alisation \u00e0 l\u2019<strong>Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Amiens<\/strong> (UPJV).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:80px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">heritage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab\u00a0<strong>K.O.R.<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0, \u00ab\u00a0<strong>All of me won't disappear<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Pologne Contre Histoire<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb sont des hommages rendus \u00e0 la Pologne qui m\u2019a vue na\u00eetre, mon h\u00e9ritage. Les deux grands axes politico-culturels qui m\u2019ont forg\u00e9e, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019implication politique de mes parents en Pologne et en exil, le souci de raconter l\u2019histoire alternative du pays, une part de son identit\u00e9 silenc\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab\u00a0<strong>K.O.R.<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0, Le mouvement d\u2019autod\u00e9fense ouvri\u00e8re cr\u00e9e par eux-m\u00eames et leurs amis dans la rencontre et la formation \u00e0 l\u2019auto organisation des ouvriers polonais de la fin des ann\u00e9es 70, dans la pure tradition marxiste h\u00e9rit\u00e9e de leurs parents communistes, premi\u00e8re pierre de la chute du r\u00e9gime \u00e0 l\u2019Est !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab\u00a0<strong>All of me won't disappear<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0, film sur une po\u00e9tesse juive polono ukrainienne assassin\u00e9e en 1944. Un film bouleversant pour moi, qui m\u2019a fait m\u2019ouvrir et me r\u00e9v\u00e9ler la part puissante f\u00e9minine, errante, tragique, sensuelle de la Pologne, en Zuzanna Ginczanka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab\u00a0<strong>Pologne Contre Histoire<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0, la lutte contre le d\u00e9ni men\u00e9e pour la d\u00e9mocratie, la m\u00e9moire vivante que sont devenus certains des n\u00f4tres en Pologne pour lutter contre l\u2019effacement des relations traumatiques des juifs et des Polonais avant, pendant et apr\u00e8s la guerre en Pologne. Un film m\u00e9moriel sur la lutte pour la m\u00e9moire, et qui fait rebondir l\u2019histoire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab\u00a0<strong>KOR<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb \u00e9tait un film heureux \u00e0 faire, sur la Pologne combative, maligne, r\u00e9siliente et joyeuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab\u00a0<strong>All of me won't disappear<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Poland versus history<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb sont des films qui ravivent le &lsquo;trauma&rsquo; de la question juive en Pologne, leur destin d\u2019une violence inou\u00efe, les ressources qu\u2019ils ont laiss\u00e9es, la constitution d\u2019une culture \u00e0 partir du point aveugle de la violence, dans la v\u00e9rit\u00e9. Ces deux films, si difficiles \u00e0 penser, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019une grande inspiration cin\u00e9matographiquement, et m\u2019ont aid\u00e9e \u00e0 &lsquo;parler&rsquo; cette histoire, \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9grer et la vivre au pr\u00e9sent en conscience.
